The image on the left is part of HBO's multi-faceted viral marketing campaign for their upcoming vampire show True Blood. Just two days after this poster debuted, 20th Century Fox unveiled the teaser one-sheet for the upcoming film Jennifer's Body. Although the two projects have very different stories, the marketing approach is strikingly similar.

I recently found this poster for a little known horror flick called Draghoula which used the familiar lip-licking closeup back in 1995.
